We stay here the last week of june. We had a fast check-in and was given our room key in maybe 10min. First 3 days was VERY windy, it felt cold and the sea tempature was 19! And Pool maybe 20c. The water was very cold! It didnt feel like Turkey. The beach was a bit stoney, with small stones. Water level was ok, but stoney the first 6meters. Bathing shoes are recommended!. The beach volley area was also very stoney, and we found alot of broken glass in that sand!! So watch out.

The worst thing was the "booking" of the pool chairs. It says in the papers that you couldnt book them " with a towel" before 07.00, but people was there 05.00 and put there towel there. And by 07.00 there was no chairs free, some people sleept til 10.00 before they came to their sunbeds. Thats is scandal! If you put you towel on the sundbeds you have to stay there. On the beach it was better, not fully booked.

We booked a room with a balcony, 1 floor up. 1 double bed and 1 extra bed for 2 kids. The size of the room was around 20cbm. Bathroom was ok. Cleaning was not ok. They fixed the beds but i dont think they did more than that. I check the floor daily and same "sht" on the floor for 4 days. The reception was very friendly, helpful. When we got a problem in the room it was fixed within 1 hour. WARNING: The beds a ROCK SOLID!

The food was great ALOT to choose from. You could always find anything for you. Everyday they had a special like, newly grilled chicken, kebab, ravioli, special desert, salad. And some other 20 things to choose from. Desert table was nice, maybe around 10-15 small deserts to choose from. atleast 8-10 diffrent bread to breakfast. Cant complain on the food. Sure, it was some waiting to the meat station about 3-6 min. But if you are there around 18-18.30 its no problem. And dont leave the plate on the table, they take it VERY fast, and you have to go and get a new one. I heard that the Red wine & white wine that was free was awful. Beer, soda, juice OK.
On the day they have a pizza, burger, turkish pancakes etc. You will NEVER have that hungry feeling.

The entertainment on the evening was totally for Thomson UK and russians. Not a singel thing for us Nordic people. Boring.

Think you can deal for a Hamam is cost 350sek. And was the simple one, not oil massage .

The store at the hotel was very expensive, walk 300meter and you got another supermarket that is alot cheaper. It was a 30km in to Bodrum city, the Dolmus cost 4 lire per person. And if you are scared for speed at mountain roads then this ride is not for you. One ride we was going around 90-100km/h in the city roads..
On tuesdays there is a market in Bodrum City near the bussstation (200meters) with ALOT of clothes (not original as you know :) ) Some price ex. 1 Poloshirt Ambercrombie, 25 lire, 1 hoody jacket 50 lire, 5 pair Socks adidias 5 lire, Shoes around 40-50 lire. 3 pair jeans 50 lire, Underwear G-star,EA 5 lire each. Check the quality, sometimes they look the same but the textile is thicker on some. ALWAYS take a size larger then you usally have, they ALWAYS shrink abit. Björn Borg underwear are not recommended.

When i compare with alanya that we went last year, then bodrum is a lot smaller and colder. Will not go there again. Next time it will be Side or Alanya. The people in the stores told us that bodrum is alittle bit colder then alanya. Both in water and in the air.

If you like to stay at the hotel from 16.00 and all night just to relax , i think this is something for you. But if you like a little bit of movment and like street walking on the evening i think you should find another place. bcos its 30km in to the city.

Our trip wasnt bad but it wasnt good either. (I compare with our alanya trip)
It was a big hotel area so that personal feeling was lost. On our way back home we felt a little sick in the stomage, all 4 familys that was travel with us.

Hope you have some use of this, sorry for my english :)
