I have been an aupair here in United States, for almost 8 months, and I can’t believe the time has gone so fast! It has been a great time so far.
I live in Northampton in western Massachusetts whit my host family, taking care of Sophia, 3 years old. It’s a lively family; she also has two big brothers that are 13 and 15 years old. And I take care of here while here mom and dad are at work.
We do all kinds of stuff during the days together, story time at library, music class, art class, go to the park, inside playground, museum, play outdoors, etc. She is a challenging little girl, but I love her and I will always stay in touch whit her in the future.
At the weekends I do all kind of fun things whit my friends I meet here, mostly other au pairs but also some Americans that live in the area. We are really lucky, because we live 3 hours form New York, and 2 hours from Boston, so it’s not that far! I have gone to New York 2 weekends and to Boston 2 days. And Northampton, where I live is such a great town, it’s very different, and I don’t think I will ever see another city like this in my life! It’s very artistic, have a great variety of different stores and it’s beautiful!
Right now when the sun it’s doing its best so make all the flowers pop up, it’s better then ever! Right now I’m actually sitting in a coffee place, Woodstar, my favorite spot, where I always go when I have time, bring my computer, a book, or meet friends.
I don’t regret my choice to go here as an au pair, not at all, even if it’s hard sometimes and you’re homesick, I have learned so much from this and I have grown so much as a person. I still looking forward to go home, see my family friends, and my horse, but I will look back at this, as probably one of the best years in my life.

I don't get why I don't blogg here more often.... I like to write, infact I LOVE it, and I want to practise my english, and I'm out traveling all the time!! Well, I guess the matter of time also traps me....
Anyway, finally I got my but out and are writing some here!!
And ofcourse I'm going to write about my trip to Paris!! I went to france whit my host family on sunday from Boston airport, and landed in Paris after a layover in London, by noon monday. My family hade rented an apertment there, it was really beautiful, and had the greatest view over the seine and we could see all the way to the eifffel tower! I't was close to Bastille, a really nice area, whit lots of shops, cafe and resturants. I worked some during the week, but it still feelt like a had time to do a lot of what I wanted to do to!
I saw the eiffel tower, whent to de louvre, arc triumf, concorde, notre dam. I would actually call myself a great turist! Haha!
I had really fun, and OMG I love paris! I just have to go back there!
Hope it wont take so long time till you here from me again!

Saturday night is here, I'm sitting by the computer try to keep up whit mails and stuff...
It's been a long day, but a fun day to, wnet to the gym this morning whit Jennie, then we went to a aupair meeting, nice holiday party, then in the afternoon Alexandra, Wilma, Sophie and me first went to dinner end then to a ballet, The nutcracker at tha academy of music here in Northampton, it was beautiful and I really enjoy every moment of it! The costumes and the seeting was so good! Verry happy I did that!
Now the clock is almost 12pm... So good night everyone!

Finally it's fridary! I have been working all week so I'm looking forward to have a weekend off! My plans for the weekend are not quite ready jet, but on sunday are we some girls that is going to an outlet to do some shopping!!
I"m NOT going to buy anything....Hmm.. Well maybe... :)
I'm trying to find out what course I'm going to take... I think I found a interesting, basic drawing... We'll se...
It's funny how fast the time is going, the other day I saw thet I've been here for 100 days!!! Thats crayzy!!
But I like it here and I'm verry happy whit my host family, the are not rich and glamarous, but they are so friendly and always wants the best for me! I here the others talk about there host parents, and then I just fell so happy about mine and that I ended up here...
And I have the best in front of me- Paris in februari and a cruise in april! It can't be any better!
But I miss my family att home so much, most my little sister... It's hard to leave your'e hole lifa and just bolt... I have a horse at home to and I miss him so much sometimes that I don't know what to do...So I started to take riding lessones here! They are expensive, but worth it! It was my life at home, and now it's at least a part of my life here.
Well it smells like it's time for dinner! See ya!
