Something for the road

Are you going away for Christmas? Or back home? Either way, the journey might be long and rather boring. No matter if you are on the plane, train, bus or car you might need something that'll help you kill time.

May I suggest a good book or some music for the road?

HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOW
The 7th and final one in the Harry Potter series from J.K Rowling.
Find out what happens to young Potter in this last book.

ANYBODY OUT THERE
More chic-lit from Marian Keys. Easy-going and enjoyable.

HUNTING AND GATHERING
This lovely book is from one of my favourite writers Anna Gavalda. The story is about life in Paris.
About loneliness, friendship, love and destiny.

If you are behind the wheel driving or if you are just too tired to read, enjoy some tunes in your mp3-player.

THE CHECKS album HUNTING WHALES is out in Europe now! Those Kiwi boys sure know how to rock. If you like JET you are more than likely to appriciate this cd as well.

The Canadian singer FEIST released her new album REMINDER earlier this year with the excellent song 1234. This is easy listening. Perfect for the road.

If you don't like reading or music (impossible?) make sure to bring a friend and have a long conversation about this that (and everything else) on the way. All of a sudden the road is not so long and winding anymore.
Enjoy your travelling this Christmas!

(Inspiration for this was found on the swedish sites cdon.com and adlibris.com.)
