Been to Chaweng before, even tho it was in central Chaweng and that has put us off totally.
chaweng is nice im sure..but the prices are overrated i think..
Bo Phut and Bang poh are two different beaches am i right?
Anyways, we are going to rent a car so we can visit different places this time. Maybe we´ll stop at Bang Poh .. :-)

Chaweng are not to busy for a 4 year old kid if you choose the right place tp stay! I can recommend you to take a look at The Fair House Beach Resort in Chaweng Noi. We stayed in a Deluxe garden wing-room with our 2,3 year old son and had a mavelous vaccation there. The beach are very friendly for kids and are mych calmer than Chaweng (wich will be reach by 10-15 min. walk).

At the same trip we also stayed 5 nights in a hous at Royal living Residence in bang Poh and the house was the best we ever have hired but the beach wasn´t so good for kids... it was also far to shops (we could hardly not even find Coke some days i the small "shop" in Bang Poh.

The time for our visit in Bang Poh was 2006 so maybe there have been a lot of changes to the better (?) since then . There was a lot of building going on nearby but remember, the beach was not good for kids.
