Leaving Moscow in the afternoon. I bribe one of the staff to go on a train, because I missed the one I had a ticket for (among twentyfive thousand small shops there are a few less important railroad tracks). His suggestion of course. I would never suggest it. Go with the flow. Oh, he didn't say a single word in English, and my Russian is limited to da, njet, skolko (how much) and spasiba.
Arriving St Petersburg at 10 pm. It's not dark yet, sunny but a bit chilly, not as warm as in Moscow. I manage to find directions to my
hostel on the web and take the metro there, check in and go to bed right away.
