Snus - mellanlandning
Vi mellanlandar i Singapore, ska vidare till Langkawi. Vi måste checka ut och in bagage vid ankomst Singapore då vi har 2 olika bokningar. Alltså gå genom tullen. Har 4 timmar på flygplatsen i Singapore.
Hur gör vi med snuset? Hade ingen tanke på detta. Vi hade ju tänkt packa ner 2 stockar i det incheckade bagaget vilket vi nu då måste hämta ut och då checka in igen för vidare resa till Langkawi.

För andra som ska mellanlanda i Singapore så kommer här svar från HSA som svarade mig.
Vi hade redan kommit fram så vi gjorde som ovan. Lämnade i Left luggage.
Bra för andra att veta att även HSA bekräftar att det går bra att lämna på left luggage.

Thank you for the confirmation on our queries.
Please be informed that the importation of snus into Singapore is prohibited under Section 15 of the Tobacco (Control of Advertisements and Sale) Act.
However, the prohibition on snus does not apply to the import of such products into Singapore solely for the purpose of taking them out of Singapore. We note that you will be clearing immigration clearance and enter Singapore for 4 hours before departing for Langkawi.
You may consider depositing them at the Left Baggage counter located in the Transit Departure Area before immigration clearance and collect the snus upon your departure from Singapore.
Do note that the consumption of snus within the Changi airport is also not allowed.
In view that the Left Baggage service is under Changi Airport Group (CAG) purview, we have kept our colleagues from Changi Airport Group in the copy list for their assistance.
