Long Island a selfproviding prison island just outside maincity "Victoria" at Mahé. When picture was taken a prisoner come out at there boat fishing. It's a scary country.
Residents of neighbouring Islands have been complaining that inmates occasionally break out from the prison located on a scenic island not just to attend parties, but also to commit crimes.
The new crime wave is said to be threatening tourism which is the mainstay of the island's economy.

Four foreign mercenaries were sentenced today to death by hanging and another was sentenced to 20 years in jail for their role in a bungled attempt to topple the Seychelles' socialist Government.
